Research

The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry @ MC offers undergraduate research experiences as an integral part of its program for chemistry majors. These include Special Topics (CHE451 and CHE452) and Honors Reading & Research (CHE361, CHE462 and CHE463). Students enrolled in these programs work closely with their mentors on original research projects. Required terminal reports are maintained on file in the Departmental Offices. Honors Research results in a formal Honors Essay and Defense. Students are encouraged to make presentations of their work at scholarly meetings.
