IUCr Crystallography school

IUCr Crystallography school 2007 is an interdisciplinary workshop brings together experts from electron and x-ray diffraction in modern crystalloghy, chemistry and materials science. It offers fundamental courses on the link to electron/ x-ray dynamical diffraction, phase problem and advanced diffraction/spectroscopy techniques with the structure of multiscale materials. In addition, it is a training course intending to stimulate the young scientists towards integrating electron/x-ray diffraction in their research project about materials and their properties in relation to, for example, energy storage and distribution, communication technology, biotechnology and nano-technology etc.) IUCr crystallography school 2007 is part of the activities of Asian Crystallographic Association Conference, AsCA'07, which will be held in the golden week of 11/1-9, 2007.

The program of IUCr crystallography school includes
Fundamental theory of Electron/X-ray dynamical diffraction
Phasing of electron/x-ray diffraction
Advanced diffraction/spectroscopy methodology and tehniques
