About Structural Biology at CAMD
The Center for Advanced Microstructures and Devices (CAMD) is a second generation source, operational since 1992, at Louisiana State University (LSU).

Gulf Coast Protein Crystallography Consortium (GCPCC)
The purpose of the Gulf Coast Consortium for Protein Crystallography is to foster excellent cross-disciplinary research and education in the field of protein crystallography. The GCC for Protein Crystallography maintains an X-ray beamline at the Louisiana State University synchrotron that is a key resource for modern crystallography in the Gulf Coast Area. The GCPCC beamline serves as a regional research and training facility. It will accelerate the solution of new structures by providing improved access to a MAD capable synchrotron radiation beamline. Consortium Institutions: Louisiana State University, Rice University, University of Texas Medical Branch, Baylor College of Medicine, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, University of Texas - Austin, University of Houston, Texas A & M University
