International Union of Crystallography
This section deals with Internet newsgroups of particular interest to crystallographers. More general information on newsgroups can be found in the section Internet Newsgroup - General Information.
Three examples taken recently from the crystallography newsgroup sci.techniques.xtallography illustrate its powerful facility to circulate opinions and discussion topics as well as queries and solutions:
Problems with Polaroid Film,
Want to solve a structure? and
Help prevent ORTEP of the year.
Presently, six newsgroups
sci.techniques.xtallography
bionet.xtallography
bionet.molbio.proteins
bionet.structural-nmr
bionet.molec-model
bionet.software.x-plor
directly relevant to the interests of crystallographers exist on the Internet and details of accessing them are given below.
